Community Involvement
Curves of Ellicott City
Ellicott City Curves is proud to participate in several community programs:
Annual Food Drive - Every March we collect food and money for the local food bank. Within the last five years, our members have helped us collect over 5,000 pounds of food.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Every October we support Breast Cancer Awareness by raising funds to help pay for the detection and treatment of breast cancer.
MS Walk 2009 - In April 2009, we participated in our first annual MS Walk. Ellicott City Curves helped to raise awareness about Multiple Sclerosis by asking our Curves community for donations and support. Team Ellicott City Curves raised over $3,600. This was an amazing experience and we were so thankful that our Curves had the opportunity to participate in such a great event.
